6 Prolife warnings about Ireland have already come true

Before the Referendum to remove the right to life of the unborn child, prolife supporters repeatedly warned of the consequences of living in a country where the unborn had no rights.

Warning after warning was arrogantly mocked by pro abortion supporters and by those who naively believed that the referendum was merely about medically necessary procedures, not abortion by choice.

The rejections of amendments to the bill show us that those in Fianna Fail and Fine Gael want to take the most extreme abortion legislation possible into the next election as a means of deflecting. Deflection from cervical cancer, homelessness, mass emigration, rising social problems and so on and so on…

Although there are many, many obvious lies which anyone with half a knowledge of the subject and half of a decent heart would have foreseen, we have compiled some of the most severe here.

Here are 6 of the most serious predictions which have already come to pass before the first abortion has even happened.

1.       Ireland has one of the most extreme abortion laws in the world.

Many Yes voters engaged in wishful thinking. Or wilful delusion. Or both.

Even though the proposed Bill before the referendum clearly permitted abortion in very permissive circumstances, many chose to live in a fantasy world where an abortion could only be allowed where the life of a mother was in danger. Despite their ignorance that that was the law already, what has come to pass is that Ireland has one of the most liberal abortion regimes in the whole world. It will be very difficult for anyone to be denied an abortion at any stage of pregnancy for any reason.

Ann Furedi, one of the most prominent British abortion careerists, has praised it as being more ‘progressive’ than the already wild British abortion laws, where 98% of abortions are on healthy babies and 2 in every 5 are repeat customers.

Her 12 weeks comment comes down to the legislation stating that abortion is allowed up until 6 months where there is a risk to the life, or of serious harm to the health, of the pregnant woman. In practise, this is always abortion code for whenever a woman wants to and a doctor agrees to it.

Alongside this, underage girls who need an abortion will not be required to inform their parents of what has happened. As to who wanted that included and why, we can only ponder.

2.       Unborn children will be subjected to the most painful deaths possible.

In some Social Media exchanges before the referendum, deluded Yes voters insisted that abortion would be done in almost every case with ease. Merely chemical. Disintegrating a blob of cells and everything would be done.

Thanks to the recent vote by TDs however, it will be ensured that any child who is aborted will not be administered pain relief before they are dismembered with a forceps, especially in the third trimester when we know that the unborn person feels pain.

3.       Children born alive during abortion will be left to die.

The parties of Fianna Fail and Fine Gael were very vocal about their opposition to an amendment to help children born alive during abortion.

Any child who leaves the womb without dying during an abortion procedure will instead be left out on a table to die.

While we have to wonder whether we would want doctors and nurses capable of such an act even being registered as healthcare practitioners, we must turn our eyes first towards the TDs and voters who put their names to such an horrific act.

4.       Children will be aborted because of disability and because they are female.

Irish TDs made sure to vote against a motion banning abortion on the grounds of disability or sex. In line with other nations, we can expect to see Down Syndrome people virtually disappear from Irish society over the coming years as at least 9/10s are aborted by their parents.

Likewise, not as significant in numbers but as significant in morality, females will be disproportionately targeted for abortion.

Both were routinely mocked as being scare mongering, despite the evidence from every country with an abortion industry confirming it as a fact.

5.       Babies will not be given a burial, their body parts and organs can be sold.

Although the exact nature of the disposal of unborn children by the supposed doctors and nurses in their care remains to be seen, Fianna Fail and Fine Gael explicitly stated that the body of the aborted child is not entitled to a proper disposal.

This means that we could have a situation akin to the United Kingdom where the remains of aborted babies are incinerated to heat hospitals.

Likewise, their organs can be sold as part of the lucrative foetal organ trade, as the Planned Parenthood scandals of a few years ago revealed to be worth thousands to those who secure the organs and limbs of aborted children.

6.   Parents of underage girls who get pregnant will not be informed when their daughter gets an abortion.

The more stark the warning from prolifers, the more incapable Repealers were of believing it to be true, even when it has been an issue elsewhere.

This was certainly true of the warning that child abusers would be emboldened by the oncoming legislation and by the reality of abortion clinics aiding them in hiding their abuse.

As predicted, Simon Harris’s office have ensured that girls aged 15 and under will not have their parents contacted, although they will be ‘encouraged’ to tell them themselves. Laughable.

Doctors have not been too impressed, with one spokesperson stating:

“To receive this 10 days before the service is introduced is deeply disturbing. This has not been widely discussed by clinicians’’.
