Day 2: No Mass, No Vote

Yesterday, we started our campaign to contact every TD in Ireland telling them that without a return to the Mass for Easter, they would not be getting votes.

Today we continue that with another ten, here are some recommendations:

Do NOT copy and paste an email as it will not be considered, use your own words, even if it is just one line.

But DO include this one thing:

  • Tell the politician that you will NEVER vote for them again if they do not do everything in their power to fix this situation.

Tell the politicians straight out, I WILL NOT VOTE FOR YOU. I WILL CANVASS AGAINST YOU.

Just regarding people’s objections, this is not being done in vain. The bishops said that they will take further action if we contact TDs. Let’s hold them at their word. Irish Catholics have prayed outside churches, held Rosaries and held Mass at Mass Rocks, now is the time for pragmatism. If the bishops hear that every TD has been lobbied, they have to act or break their word. We don’t expect them to do the latter.
