Anglican Freemason Scandal Rocks Rome

50 invalidly ordained Anglican ‘priests’ celebrated ‘Mass’ at the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran in Rome, the official seat of the Bishop of Rome, Pope Francis.

In a stunning insult to Catholics everywhere, but particularly those on the Celtic Isles of Ireland and Great Britain who were persecuted for centuries under the Penal Laws, Anglicans were allowed to host their religious services right in the very heart of the same Roman establishment which is outlawing the Traditional Latin Mass.

‘Bishop’ Jonathan Baker celebrated proceedings within the church. Baker is a Freemason, who only left the sinister Anglo secret society in an official capacity when there was public criticism of his membership upon appointment to the ecclesiastical role.

In a brief statement on the matter, those in charge of the basilica responded by saying that it:

expresses deep regret for what happened last Tuesday, April 18, inside the Basilica of St. John in Rome. In fact, a group of about 50 priests, accompanied by their bishop, all belonging to the Anglican Communion, celebrated at the main altar of Rome’s cathedral, contravening canonical norms.

In a now protected tweet, one Anglican ‘cleric’ undermined the apparent ‘miscommunication’ by stating that this was a widespread practice:

It is impossible to overestimate the rank hypocrisy of this decision and the blasé nature with which it was explained away as a mere ‘miscommunication’.

As Traditionalists are hounded out of their parishes across the world, we see here that Protestants can march right into the heart of Rome, to the seat of the pope himself, and mock Catholics with their ceremonies.

Those who took part are of those who refer to themselves as ‘Anglo-Catholic’, which no more makes them ‘Catholic’ than any other Protestants. In a time where Traditionalists are mocked for being attached to mere theatrics and aesthetics, here we have a group who take pride in such vanity.
