The band parted ways with Ian Banham after he wrote such tweets as one where he said that a violent male criminal dressed up as a woman was still a man.
Wild Youth evidently disagree and announced that they are about ‘unity’, which perhaps this violent criminal represents, who knows.
The announcement has been universally mocked by social media users, with many such as JK Rowling seeing them as being on the side of violent misogynists.
