Khamenei says Israel "will not last long"

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei—the Supreme Leader of the Iranian Islamic Republic—has threatened the existence of Israel saying it “will not last long.” With a rifle in his hand, he said this during a sermon at the Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla mosque in central Tehran today.

Khamenei went on to celebrate the October 7# Hamas attack last year.

He is the spiritual leader of Hezbollah and verbalized support for their attacks on Israel also.

“Hezbollah ... by defending Gaza, fighting for (Jerusalem's) Al-Aqsa Mosque and hitting the usurping and tyrannical regime (Israel), took a step (in providing) a vital service to the entire region and the entire Islamic world”

Sadly, this is a clear declaration of war against Israel.

At a meeting, according to the Daily Mail, he said: “if they leave this region, these wars and clashes will disappear from this region completely.”  (Read this carefully. It does not exclude him trying to eradicate Israeli’s elsewhere.)

Thankfully, it sounds like the majority of Iranians do not support his position, though they may suffer because of his actions.

Please pray for peace in the Middle East.
