Many developed countries & territories like Ireland, Scotland, the UK, Mann & Jersey are tackling the thorny issue of Assisted Suicide and Voluntary Euthanasia [AS/VE].
The media is overwhelmingly in favour of the legalization of AS/VE. Organizations like Dignity in Dying and My Death, My Decision are well funded and actively promote it’s introduction too.
Now, actress Liz Carr has produced a review of the topic from her viewpoint — that of an intelligent disabled person who relishes life. She — and her friends — show the enormous risks which will come to every disabled person when society views them as having lesser value than able-bodied people.
Liz proves that AS/VE must not be legalized.
The show was aired initially on BBC and was available on-line to those with a British TV license. Now it has been released on YouTube — the link is below.
Please listen to what she says so eloquently.
