Stop opening up about your mental health online

Shortly after posting the May 21# article on Suicide [Sammy and Flora: RIP] I came across this excellent video by Freya India on Twi𝕏 which had been posted by TRIGGERnometry. [@triggerpod]

Freya gives grounded advice to adolescents & young adults — and even older adults! — against sharing too much on-line. (It is so good, please forgive her advertising bedding half-way through.) Video is 10:50 minutes long.

NB: this is advice against on-line Social Media posting: please do get appropriate support from family & friends, and/or professional help if appropriate.

While looking for the YouTube link, I also found her related video below about the way we are now posting every trivial aspect of our lives onto [Anti]-Social Media. [8:14 minutes]

The companies are looking to sell you stuff — pills, “support” programs, or trite “validation.”

As Freya says: strangers don’t care about you.
