Justin Trudeau got all our hopes up yesterday and “announced” his resignation as Prime Minister of Canada and as leader of the Liberal Party of Canada…but he did not actually resign!
This announcement occurred before the caucus review which is slated for tomorrow, Wednesday 8th. Many liberal MP’s have voiced their concerns with his leadership and there would likely be a no confidence vote at the meeting. His last popularity poll was apparently down to 16%!
What did occur is that Trudeau prorogued parliament — so no business can be conducted — and announced that he would resign after they find a new leader of the Liberal party. That normally takes 3-4 months!
In the mean time effectively Canada has no leader and no functional parliament.
Yet another coup for the WEF?
