French authorities have taken no chances on this Feast of the Assumption, protecting Catholics with GUNS as they attend Mass on the Feast of the Assumption.
In a statement on Twitter, French police wrote:
To guarantee the serenity of the Assumption celebrations, the #policenationale was deployed around places of worship during services. #Protéger .
The situation mirrors last Christmas, when similar scenes shocked the world.
It comes after a number of incidents in recent years, including beheadings of priests and laity and arson attacks on churches as well as the allegedly accidental burning of Notre Dame in Paris.
Last year, 100 churches were torched to the ground in Canada after a conspiracy theory about a mass grave (which was later debunked) was spread by Canadian journalists, in order to cover for their role in the so called ‘Sixties Scoop’, where they participated in taking indigenous children and forcing them into Anglo Culture, right up until the 1990s.
It also comes on a day where the Catholic world is disgusted by The Atlantic declaring the Rosary an ‘Extremist Symbol’, on the Feast of the Assumption.
Catholic Arena reached out to the Holocaust Education Centre in Canada, which employs the author of that piece as a ‘Hate Researcher’ to see if they agreed but as of writing they had not replied.
With events in Nicaragua, Nigeria, Canada, France and the efforts to call the Rosary a ‘hate symbol’, hatred of Catholics is becoming more brazen and more violent.
