Attacks against Christians have increased with brutal rapidity in recent years.
The perpetrators of these attacks in the past year have increasingly been Israeli Jews, radicalised by Zionism, rather than by Muslims.
There have been desecrations of cemeteries, arson attacks on churches and now, even physical assaults on priests.
Yesterday, two Zionist thug attacked a bishop and two priests during Mass and attempted to desecrate the Church of Gethsemane, revered as the Tomb of the Virgin Mary by Eastern Christians.
The Greek Orthodox Church has called for the ‘‘international protection of holy sites.”
“Terrorist attacks, by radical Israeli groups, targeting churches, cemeteries, and Christian properties… have become almost a daily occurrence that evidently increases in intensity during Christian holidays,’’.
It is unlikely that the increasing terror attacks by young Israelis will make the mainstream news in the United States, where neo Conservative money funds the same parties now promoting the ideologies that lead to such anti Christian sentiments.
What is most concerning about the current levels of violence is that it is exclusively being committed by young males, who feel the political backing to do what they are doing.
Christians need to come together to protect their presence in the Holy Land or it could disappear by the end of the century.
