After spending a decade reducing the quality of life for Irish families, the country’s ruling Fianna Fail and Fine Gael launched an all out assault on Hungary in the past two years.
Failed politician Fiona O’Loughlin, who is a Senator against the wishes of the public, has repeatedly attacked the country. She has repeatedly put forth Putin like rhetoric by saying that the country should be ‘brought to task’ for opposing the EU’s anti family policies. Her rhetoric was eclipsed by Fine Gael MEP Maria Walsh however, who actually flew to Budapest to march in an opposition led parade during June.
They had appeared to have expected to play a role in orchestrating anti natalist regime change in Hungary, in the same manner that the Democratic Party’s Katherine Zappone was allowed to in Ireland during the various social engineering referendums of the 2010s.
As in Ireland, Hungarian billionaire George Soros was heavily involved in efforts to help to engineer anti natalist policies within the Eastern European country.
His notorious Open Society Foundation was at the heartbeat of Ireland’s Repeal of the 8th Amendment, which stripped unborn children of the right to live. Soros even made a documentary celebrating the victory last year, with Irish government propaganda outlet RTE then broadcasting the biased propaganda piece in order to taunt prolife groups.
Now, it is the Open Society who are being taunted.
Despite efforts by Soros, Western media outlets and the European Union, the people of Hungary have overwhelmingly voted to keep Viktor Orban and his Fidesz party in power.
Why wouldn’t they?
Under Orban, the country has pursued the complete opposite of Ireland’s policies towards families.
They have increased the annual live birth rates by 5,000 per annum over the course of the last decade. They have increased the fertility rate from 1.32 to 1.55 since 2000.
They have also increased the rate of children’s allowance and cut taxes for those having children, as well as providing support for married couples and for those looking to purchase homes. This is the complete opposite of Ireland’s policy, which aims to disadvantage young couples and families as much as possible in favour of increased profits for vulture funds.
With victory essentially secured in this weekend’s election, Viktor Orban has called the Hungarian Left ‘George Soros’s worst investment’.
In his victory speech, he stated:
The whole world has seen that Hungarians love their country
Good fun, man’s work, good fighting with you all. Thanks to everyone for what you put into this win today, thanks to everyone for the good wishes and for those who prayed for us
We have won a great victory – a victory so great that you can see it from the moon, certainly from Brussels
The greater the victory, the greater the need for modesty, and let's face it tonight, there's reason to be modest
We won in 2010 under the old electoral system, we won in 2014 when we were called one by one. We won in 2018 when there was a partial coalition and in 2022 when everyone joined forces against us
God only knows how we can win the most at a time when they are ganging up on us
We did not let the failed past return, we defended Hungary’s independence and freedom, its peace and security, and we protected our children and families
Every penny given to the Hungarian left was a waste of money - it seems that the Hungarian left was the worst investment of George Soros's life - for 12 years, it's just been taking money
