The growing scandal of Sydney City Council's collusion with an anti Catholic Hate Rally has deepened after the troubling anti Catholic social media history of one of its members was revealed.
In 2019, Philip Talis ‘liked’ a Tweet which stated:
‘Keep an eye out gor (sic) lurking catholic priest who will no doubt be rushing to any gathering of minors'
The hate filled sectarian tweet was in response to controversial Lord Mayor Clover Moore discussing child climate protests that were taking place near St. Mary’s Cathedral.
The revelation of this disgusting behaviour should lead to either an apology, especially as it lends credence to the theory that the event was granted permission as part of a wider anti Catbolic agenda.
In any functioning Western Democracy, we know that senior political figures targeting members of religious minorities with hatred would be a serious matter, but unfortunately this is Australia.
