Despite, or because of, what Western media outlets say, Christians are still overwhelmingly the most persecuted people in the world.
Last year we had the horrific massacre of Nigerians during Pentecost, which some Western leaders put down to Climate Change, with violence against the church continuing there daily.
Now, we hear the news that Fr. Isaac Achi was burnt alive by ‘vandals’.
His assistant, only identified by media outlets and police so far as ‘Father Collins’, was shot during the attack.
Pray for the persecuted church. Christians from Nigeria to Afghanistan, Iraq to China have already suffered so much in this century as Islam, the foreign policy of the United States of America and Communism all continue to dig their claws in.
It is going to be a long century for Christians.
