There was a wee fuss in the North American media just before Easter — the Daily Wire fired Candace Owens for saying “CHRIST IS KING!” This article deals with the lurid details of the spat …well, maybe a few tacky details!
Part II discusses a tenet of our faith — that Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ has indeed come into His Kingdom!
CANDACE
Candace Amber Owens Farmer “is an American conservative political commentator, author, activist, and television presenter.” She has been described as "the new face of black conservatism."
Candace is a Christian and “shares the same faith” as her Catholic husband George Farmer, though she has not been formally received into the Catholic Church. [Please keep her in your prayers.]

For example, Candace opposes Black Lives Matter, Feminism & the Me Too Movement. Her views are often inflammatory to liberals — to the extent of receiving death threats.
Recently, she voiced that America should not be involved in either of the 2023 Israel/Hamas War or the Ukraine War and she called the invasion of Gaza “a genocide.” That was likely very triggering for Ben Shapiro — an orthodox Jew, Zionist and supporter of the war.
Not surprisingly, Candace’s firing is the culmination of a row between Shapiro and Owens which has been going on for months.
Do I suspect that Candace participated her fair share to this spat? Absolutely!

[Jordan is a complex man. I think it is fair to say that he believes in God — and specifically Christianity — but does not yet have a formal religious affiliation.

Jeremy is CEO of the Daily Wire and seems to be quite a character! For example, the Daily Wire went into the razor business when Harry’s Razors stopped advertising with them over “Values Misalignment!”

At 3:05 mins Boreing makes the now curious comment: “Our country is in trouble. Conservatives are being cancelled by Hollywood, The Media, Universities…and now Harry’s Razors.” Maybe he should rephrase that to:
“Conservatives are being cancelled by Hollywood, The Media, Universities…and now the Daily Wire!”
FALSE TROPES
OKAY sign: White Power / White Supremacy
The Indian Express reported on the The New York Times article which noted that this trope was put out as a gag in early 2017 when some users on the anonymous online message board 4chan began “Operation O-KKK” — to see if they could lead American liberals and the mainstream media to believe that the gesture was actually a secret symbol of White power.
If it is a symbol of White Supremacy then the four below have some explaining to do!!

Zina Gelman Bash
The Lefties lost it during the Kavenaugh hearings for the US Supreme Court and accused his former law clerk Zina Gelman Bash of being a White Supremacist for possibly giving a discreet OKAY sign with her hand.
She gave a master-class of trolling the Trolls!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Zina is not really white supremacist material being a Hispanic Jew and a descendant of Polish Holocaust survivors!
HONK-HONK is “Neo-NAZI”
Some may know about the 2022 Freedom Convoy in Canada when hundreds of truckers demonstrated against COVID restrictions. When they occupied Ottawa city centre they blew their horns and used the term: Honk-Honk!
Some twisted person tried to bias public opinion against the truckers by claimed that Honk-Honk stood for “HH” a.k.a. “Heil Hitler.”
Evil.
THE SPAT
It was reported that Jeremy Boreing, CEO of Daily Wire blasted Candace Owens for saying ‘Christ Is King’: “You are a blasphemer and an antisemite and a piece of crap.”
Apparently since then, the Daily Wire has been the origin of a slew of memes and false tropes denouncing the phrase “Christ is King” as being antisemitic. If that is true, then EVERY Christian has a beef with Boreing and the Daily Wire now.
Boreing and Daily Wire attempted to demean, belittle, smear, malign and abuse Candace Owens by demeaning, belittling, smearing, maligning and abusing a fundamental a tenet of Christianity.
We gain more insight into the Jewish interpretation of the phrase “Christ is King” through the clip from Andrew Klavan, below.

Klavan patently views himself as a Jew — the race — before being Christian — the religion. He claims to be well accepted by the Christian community “….except this ‘Christ the King’ antisemitic crowd.”
…The “Christ-is-King crowd” should include EVERY SINGLE CHRISTIAN — including himself!
He explains that this phrase can mean that God abandoned “his chosen people, the Jews” — a fascinating stance for a purported Christian. He does not mention how the Jews rejected Jesus Christ in 33 A.D. in a rather unambiguous way. (Nor how they still are still rejecting Him.)
It appears that the characters in the Daily Wire need to update their New Testament and Church teachings, including Walsh and Knowles who have remained silent (though perhaps their positions are being threatened also.)
They should read Part II!
