Ireland’s ruling Fine Gael party has made a habit in recent years of positioning themselves as the liberal opposing force to Hungary’s ruling Fidesz party.
In recent years, they have even attended Pride marches in Budapest in order to drum up support for corporate values in the country.
Now, with the widespread debunking of claims of ‘LGBT Free Zones’, Fine Gael are instead merely referring to the government there making life ‘difficult’ for LGBTI people.
In a video released today, Jennifer MacNeill calls out the Hungary government, no doubt in an effort to win support for Fine Gael in Europe. The curious thing about Fine Gael in Europe is that they define themselves as ‘Centre Right’ yet appear to sponsor nothing but radical causes, many of which could be identified as left-wing, far left and transhumanist.
