Despite a general reluctance on the part of doctors to abort Irish babies, the numbers of children who had their lives prematurely ended in pregnancy at the hands of taxpayers skyrocketed last year.
Numbers climbed from 6,000 to 8,500.

A selectively produced ‘review’ of the system will be presented to cabinet over the coming weeks.
The news comes amid confirmation that at least two families are suing the state after their babies were destroyed following misdiagnosis this past year.
With the state now evicting families, encouraging their young people to emigrate and presiding over the most chaotic and divisive immigration policy since Angela Merkel, the dark promises of 2018 are all beginning to come to fruition.
