A prolife rally in Brisbane, Australia drew thousands of supporters this Saturday.
Sydney Morning Herald stated that Queensland Senator Matt Canavan made a ‘bold claim’ in asserting that sex selective abortions were occurring in Australia. Evidently, the reporter who wrote that, Toby Crockford, had not read his own newspaper’s coverage of sex selective abortions. In 2018, they even published a piece entitled ‘We need to know the sex, if it is a girl we are going to terminate it’.
New South Wales pro abortion advocates drew international condemnation last month after disgusting footage of them chanting ‘Put the fetus in the bin!’ outside St. Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney on World Down Syndrome Day.
Many Australian babies are born alive each year and left to die painfully in tables as part of the country’s vicious abortion regime. In Queensland, hundreds of babies were born alive and left to die in botched abortions between 2005 and 2015.
Senator Matt Canavan spoke against the Medicare funding of sex selective abortion from the stage to the 5,000 people who attended the Brisbane march. He said that he was inspired by a conversation with a doctor who told him of the occurrence of such a thing.
He [the doctor] said that he had patients who have admitted to him that they have terminated pregnancies after they have had the gender of their baby revealed and that is wrong
The other side know it’s wrong because they deny it even happens.
“So I will not only pursue George’s bill, I’m going to introduce a bill into the Parliament that will say there should be no Medicare funding of sex-selection abortions … because your taxes should not go to other parents trying to choose the gender of their babies.
