Troubling historic tweets from Fianna Fail candidate Deirdre Conroy have emerged in the runup to the election in Dublin Bay South.
Conroy has a troubling history of antipathy towards prolife voters and politicians, yet her comments on Ronan Mullen were beyond the norms of decent political discussion.
In 2016, she referred to the Catholic prolife Senator as an, ‘anti-female, anti-choice terrorist’.
She also called for him to be stripped of his salary.
There are still many Catholics and prolifers who vote for Fianna Fail. This is not your parent’s Fianna Fail, this is a Fianna Fail who are as left wing as any other. If you are in Dublin Bay South, please only vote for prollife candidates and for those who promise not to mistreat Catholics.
