In a remarkably positive turn of events, France has seen record numbers of adults entering the church at Easter.
In 2023, the numbers increased by percent and now they have increased by a further 32 percent on that, leading to 7,135 being baptised at Easter.
The demographics of those being baptised are quite varied, with young and old both present and interestingly, 5% of them coming from a Muslim background.
There is a gender imbalance, with women making up 62% and men 38% of converts.
This is wonderful news for the church, in France and elsewhere, Deo Gratias.
