In a worrying trend, yet another French Catholic Church has had Sacred Hosts stolen from it.
Saint Jean Baptiste Church in Rouen was among two churches in the city that were attacked last week.
The diocese said:
The authors of this sacrilege have violated what is most holy for Catholics . Bring back the hosts worth invaluable. It is the body of Christ which is affected in the middle of Lent, a period when Christians remember his passion.
It is plausible that the hosts were being used in a Satanic ritual designed to influence France’s vote on abortion, which was passed yesterday.
