Irish Government Extends Lockdown Powers until November

Two important stories went under the radar today in Ireland, both are linked.

Firstly, Declan Ganley’s case against the cruel and vicious ban on Mass was called ‘moot’ by a judge, despite the fact that lockdown can be reintroduced. His case has been deferred once again for a month.

Secondly, Ireland’s anti Catholic government quietly extended their power to quarantine people, force people to wear facemasks and to fine people who breach arbitrary and unscientific restrictions such as the ban on the public worship.

It is remarkable for a judge to call it ‘moot’ (for those not familiar with that term, pointless would be an apt synonym) on the day that such a power was drafted.

The Irish government are realising that they have crashed the economy with their mishandling, with Aer Lingus announcing plans to leave their Shannon base today, as well as laying off workers in Cork, 130 in total. Without the potential to impose these restrictions, they would be facing widespread calls to step down from the electorate.

We are expecting that come September, the media and the government will also push for Communions that have been scheduled for then to be delayed once more.

Although Catholics are currently enjoying the reprieve of returning to Mass, the round the clock anti Catholic propaganda on State Media this week tells us not to get too comfortable yet.
