In a deranged article reminiscent of the worst days of the Ku Klux Klan, Pamela Paul has attacked Christians and said that their values are not American.
The article comes with an especially anti Catholic flavour, with an image of Our Lady and an American flag at the top.
It is really one of the greatest failures of the Biden presidency that, no matter what he says, he is seen as a Catholic President and yet as one who can turn a blind eye to the mistreatment of his fellow Catholics.
Considering the fact that Ms. Paul is very concerned with the historical erasure of certain religious groups from the idea of American identity, it seems remarkable that she is so crass and insensitive here, especially towards groups like Catholics who have suffered terrible discrimination in the USA.
