Rally for Life Draws 10,500 in Dublin

The Rally for Life took place in Dublin this past weekend and continues to draw large crowds despite the legalisation of abortion.

Prior to the Rally for Life, Isobel Vaughn Spruce gave a talk as part of the Rally Fest. Pro family group Family Solidarity had organised the talk.

The Rally then made its way from Parnell Street. Notably absent along the route were the usual aggressive counter protestors, though some pro aborts did make a comically feeble effort to tear down posters prior to it.

In footage posted by the Rally for Life, one can see the massive crowd largely composed of young people.

With the abortion rate spiralling in imitation of Ireland’s neighbour the UK, the government ready to get rid of the three day waiting period and pending legislation to outlaw people from praying within 100 metres of abortion chambers, Ireland looks likely to continue to be an unfriendly place to give birth thanks to the policies of Fine Gael and Fianna Fail.
