Bishop Schneider Shares Synod Prayer

With the Synod meeting in Rome almost upon us, Bishop Athanasius Schneider has shared a prayer invoking Saint Michael.

The prayer seeks unity and faith in the midst of much confusion.

Many are worried that lobby groups will be given free reign at the Synod, others are upset that local Synods were ignored in favour of these groups.

There are also those who are upset that the official Synod website continues to enthusiastically support and celebrate Marko Rupnik, the Slovenian priest who brutally raped dozens of nuns. Rupnik is a hero to many involved with the Synod, who are steadfastly maintaining his presence on the Synod website and claiming that attacks on him are really covert attacks on Pope Francis.

In the midst of this climate, Bishop Schneider shared the following prayer.
