US Archbishop Banned From Releasing Anti Biden Statement

PillarCatholic are reporting that the Vatican vetoed the release of a statement critical of pro abortion and pro war incoming President Joe Biden today.

The statement had been prepared by Archbishop Jose Gomez, the president of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.

In a strongly worded release, Gomez had spoken with authority against Biden, a man who was instrumental in wars that have damaged Christians around the world, such as Iraq, as well as having sued nuns. Biden has also helped in expanding abortion to extreme circumstances.

Gomez started his statement by saying that:

“Catholic bishops are not partisan players in our nation’s politics. We are pastors responsible for the souls of millions of Americans and we are advocates for the needs of all our neighbors.”

Pointing out that neither party could be considered aligned with Catholic teaching, the bishop continued:

On these and other issues, our duty to love and our moral principles lead us to prudential judgments and positions that do not align neatly with the political categories of left or right or the platforms of our two major political parties

On some issues we find ourselves more on the side of Democrats, while on others we find ourselves standing with Republicans. Our priorities are never partisan. We are Catholics first, seeking only to follow Jesus Christ faithfully and to advance his vision for human fraternity and community

What appears to have irked the Vatican is that Gomez had the courage to state:

our new President has pledged to pursue certain policies that would advance moral evils and threaten human life and dignity, most seriously in the areas of abortion, contraception, marriage, and gender. Of deep concern is the liberty of the Church and the freedom of believers to live according to their consciences.

He spoke specifically of Biden’s crude support for the most extreme forms of abortion:

For the nation’s bishops, the continued injustice of abortion remains the ‘preeminent priority.

Abortion is a direct attack on life that also wounds the woman and undermines the family. It is not only a private matter, it raises troubling and fundamental questions of fraternity, solidarity, and inclusion in the human community. It is also a matter of social justice. We cannot ignore the reality that abortion rates are much higher among the poor and minorities, and that the procedure is regularly used to eliminate children who would be born with disabilities.”

My hope, too, is that we can work together to finally put in place a coherent family policy in this country, one that acknowledges the crucial importance of strong marriages and parenting to the well-being of children and the stability of communities. If the President, with full respect for the Church’s religious freedom, were to engage in this conversation, it would go a long way toward restoring the civil balance and healing our country’s needs.

According to PillarCatholic, the pressure came from the Vatican but also from Democrat friendly figures such as Cardinal Cupich and Archbishop Tobin, who saw it as being overtly critical of Biden’s pro war, pro abortion administration. It was due to be released today to coincide with Biden’s inauguration.

It also comes as Cardinal Turkson today blamed THE CHURCH for Biden’s anti Catholic politics, stating that the church had failed him and that he was ‘outstanding’ on some social issues.

Perhaps this is being done out of fear. Biden has already appointed Samantha Power, the warmonger who enabled the destruction of Libya, with its slave markets and human trafficking, and who is now putting feelers out for doing the same to Catholic countries like Poland and Hungary.

Likewise, the previous administration in the Bush/Obama dynasty were revealed to hate Catholics, even conspiring to create fake groups within the church to subvert it. The Obama administration also spied on Pope Francis on the runup to the 2013 conclave that elected him to replace Benedict XVI.

The Globalists are back in charge.
