BBC Upholds Complaints Against Queen's Funeral Commentary

When Queen Elizabeth II died in September, there were many who came out the worse of it.

Two of these were television hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, who were universally criticised for appearing to skip the queue to see the Queen’s coffin.

Another was the BBC, which inexplicably aired a broadcast that mocked the ethnic cleansing of Catholics in the United Kingdom during the procession of the coffin.

Now, after thousands of complaints, the BBC has upheld complaints against this broadcast.

The BBC’s findings stated that it was offensive and beneath their standards.
