For the 3rd year running, an Ecumenical Prayer Service of Belonging will take place at St. Teresa’s Church, Donore Avenue on June 27th.
The Dublin church has hosted the event twice before.
In recent years, it has courted controversy after blocking the tabernacle with a Pride flag for a photo opportunity.
It has also courted controversy for a speech which referred to a book of the Bible as ‘literal garbage’.
A Rosary of reparation has been organised to take place.
The Prayer Service went viral this week after journalist Andy Ngo posted an image in a nightclub that promoted the service beside some condoms.
Interestingly, the Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus will be singing at the event despite being denied permission to appear at St. Andrew’s Westland Row in recent weeks.
