Catholics 'Have Decided to Stay' in 'Impossible, Dangerous' Gaza

The latest update from Catholics in Gaza. Please pray for them all:

Hello everyone

Thank you a million for your closeness and prayer.

The situation in Gaza is dramatic.

They have given an ultimatum from the Israeli army that the entire population of Gaza City, the most populated in the Strip with more than a million inhabitants, must leave their homes and go to the South... several kilometers away.

A catastrophe... really.

In the Parish and in the Church sites we have hundreds of people, including children, adolescents and bedridden and disabled adults.

The parishioners have decided to stay since they see it as impossible and dangerous anyway, since the bombings that have already claimed more than 1,500 dead (more than 400 dead are children!) and more than 6,000 injured in the Strip... they don't stop

I ask you for a lot of prayer for the cessation of hostilities and for the numerous victims on one side or the other of the wall.

Father Gabriel Romanelli, IVE
