Israel has become a hotbed of anti Christian hatred in the past year.
Churches have been set on fire, graveyards have been desecrated and priests have been spat at and assaulted, with one bishop even stabbed during Mass.
This has not gained the coverage that one would have expected, thanks in large part to the many ultra Zionist figures in Catholics and Protestant circles in the West, who would prefer to turn a blind eye to the situation for fear of causing offence.
One Israeli journalist decided to go under cover to shed light on the situation, especially moved to do so after footage emerged of Israelis spitting at nuns outside a church.
In the shocking expose, one can see clips of Jewish Israelis physically assaulting priests, destroying headstones in graves and ransacking churches.
When the journalist takes to the streets in his habit, everyone in Jewish Israeli society joins in with abusing him, including children and Israeli soldiers.
The situation has worsened in the past year with ultra Orthodox Jewish political power, but the journalist’s idea that this is the cause of the open hate does not stand up to scrutiny.
No political party can cause people to suddenly acquire deeply seethed hatred for a group of people, to the point of violence and attacking their places of worship. Clearly something innate in Israeli city now just an excuse to come to the fore.
