Ireland’s 4th biggest city is due to vote for its first directly elected mayor this year.
The Social Democrats, a microparty who are popular with people who aspire to being considered as middle class, have nominated British born and raised politician Elisa O’Donovan for the race.
Her candidacy to represent all of the people of Limerick has been thrown in doubt however after shocking footage reemerged.
In the videos circulating online, O’Donovan can be seen recording Catholics who were praying on Good Friday, during the lockdown in 2021.
O’Donovan then appears to call Gardai, before becoming irate.
Is this the woman to represent ALL of Limerick City?
