A leading Synodal voice has bizarrely accused Saint John Henry Newman, Gerard Manley Hopkins and Pope Benedict XVI of being ‘probably’ homosexuals.
Jos Moons SJ is heavily involved in the Synodal process and lectures in Belgium.
He made the comments in response to the Pope’s comments on gay priests in an unhinged thread on X.
He has not yet retracted the bizarre claims.
2. Let's face reality, and let's be thankful. There are many gay seminarians, priests, bishops. My estimation: at least half. In the Vatican and in your parish. Pope Benedict was probably gay, and same for JH Newman or GM Hopkins.
